The voices, solo and bass guitars were recorded with little care I must say, and I had to import MP3 tracks (!) into Logic. The challenge was to mix the elements Delucq sent me (voice, bass, guitar solo), with my elements (rhythmic guitars, drums), and to produce a rather nice arrangement. I wanted a rock sound, as fat as possible. The lyrics are far from my favorite, but I thought the music sounded pretty good with that dirty voice. "Autour de toi" (Around you) talks about some events related to the French news (3 years ago). I quickly proposed a guitar riff that Delucq liked, then a drum part, some variations, and Delucq wrote the lyrics very quickly. The principle was to randomly select each musician to form pairs.
